Channel Hub – Privacy Policy
Channel Hub (“the app”) is a multi-account YouTube channel manager published by Mr. & Mrs. Figz, LLC. This policy explains what data the app accesses, where it goes, and how you can delete it.
What the app collects and where it is stored
Channel Hub stores all data on your device. There are no Mr. & Mrs. Figz, LLC servers, no user accounts with us, and no cloud sync.
- Google sign-in tokens – Stored exclusively in the iOS Keychain (Secure Enclave-backed). Never written to plain storage, never transmitted to us.
- YouTube channel data – Channel names, handles, subscriber counts, upload dates, and video metadata fetched from the YouTube Data API are cached in a local SQLite database on your device. This data is never sent to us.
- Notes and tags you create – Stored only in the same local database.
- Notification preferences – Stored in local device preferences (UserDefaults).
Cached YouTube data older than 30 days is automatically deleted.
Google API Services
Channel Hub uses Google Sign-In and the YouTube Data API v3 and YouTube Analytics API. The app requests two read-only scopes:
youtube.readonly– to list channels and videosyt-analytics.readonly– reserved for future analytics features
The app never requests write access and never modifies your YouTube account, channels, or videos. Channel Hub's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Subscription management (RevenueCat)
In-app subscriptions are managed by RevenueCat, Inc. When you purchase or restore a subscription, RevenueCat receives:
- A randomly generated, anonymous user identifier (not linked to your Google account or any personal information)
- Your purchase receipt from Apple
RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or any YouTube data. For details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
No analytics, ads, or tracking
Channel Hub contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect crash reports, usage statistics, or identifiers.
Deleting your data
You can remove any Google account from the app at any time via Settings → [account] → Disconnect. This immediately revokes the app's Google token and deletes all locally cached data for that account, including channel data, notes, and tags. No data lingers after disconnection.
To remove all app data completely, delete the app from your device. iOS will remove the app's database and Keychain entries.
Children
Channel Hub is intended for YouTube channel managers and creators. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we add a feature that changes how data is handled (such as a server component, crash reporting, or third-party analytics), we will update this policy before releasing that version.
